The thirteenth edition of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa starts this weekend from the Autodromo Nazionale of Monza: Bonaldi Motorsport is at the starting line with two cars in two different classes. On the green Huracan number 3, entered in the ProAM class, the all-Serbian couple composed by Milos Pavlovic and Petar Matic will drive. In the Pro class will be at the start the red Huracan number 33 driven by the Dutch Daan Pijl and the Brazilian Erik Mayrink, both debuting in the championship.
Milos Pavlovic, born in 1982, is a welcome return to Bonaldi Motorsport: the Belgrade-born driver with the Bergamo-based team won the Super Trofeo Europa and the Super Trofeo Mondiale in 2014 and participated in the prestigious ADAC GT Masters in 2016.
Petar Matic, entrepreneur and motorsport enthusiast, is at his first experience in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
Daan Pijl is a 17-year-old driver from the Netherlands who, despite having no background in karting, obtained his sports license at just 13 years old and won the 2019 Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup Benelux championship, demonstrating uncommon talent and speed.
Erik Mayrink, born in 1995, competed in several Brazilian karting championships from 2002 to 2015 obtaining numerous victories; in 2016 he won the Campeonato Paulista de Marcas, while since 2018 he has been involved in the Stock Car Championship which enjoys great popularity in Brazil
The schedule of the weekend is starting with Free Practice on Friday, 16th April at 9.55am and at 1.10pm. On Saturday, 17th April Qualifying Practice is starting at 10.40am and Race 1 is at 4.05pm; On Sunday, 18th April Race 2 is scheduled at 11.50am.
